Free courses to help employers fill the digital skills gap
Dagile are offering businesses free digital courses for a range of skill levels.
A recent study conducted by the Learning and Work Institute found that the UK is heading for a digital skills shortage. The pandemic has made it more apparent that digital skills are vital in economic recovery, yet the number of young people taking IT subjects at GCSE has dropped 40% since 2015.
The Learning and Work Institute also found that 70% of young people expect employers to provide digital skills training. However, only half of employers that were surveyed can provide such training.
